A country-meets-city girl, with a passion for all things colour and creative.

 

With a background in art + graphic design she went on to study floristry with Matthew Landers upon returning from 4 years abroad. She has a great interest in colour and textures - this creative outlet has lead to the creation of Olive + Finch Botanicals. 

 

Olive + Finch Botanicals - was inspired from a lone olive tree amongst the bushland at Mel's family farm. This olive tree stemmed a few branches on Mel's first creations. The unique balance of textures between dried and fresh flowers creates a warm and homey aesthetic in any setting. The inspiration drawn from the love of bushland and ocean.
